Based on its experience, structure, facilities and human potential, the University of Oradea is well suited to co-ordinate dissemination actions in European Countries, with a special focus on Eastern Europe. In addition, Professor Marcel Rosca (University of Oradea, Faculty of Engineering) has done a lot of work on simulation of heat transfer for in low enthalpy geothermal wells. In addition, the University of Oradea has developed a program for the optimisation of the thermodynamic cycle of CO2 as working fluid in binary cycle geothermal power plant. This program can also be used to model working fluid cycles for heat pumps.
